From the land of the endless summer comes Crimson Sky, a new collaboration between legendary Melbourne producers Danny Bonnici and Dizz1.

As a member of seminal Melbourne trio NuBreed, Danny Bonnici should need no introduction to any self-respecting Australian dance music connoisseur.

As kings of the progressive breaks sound, NuBreed inspired generations of dancefloors with releases on labels like Renaissance, Ministry Of Sound, Distint’ive Breaks, Zero Tolerance and EQ Recordings, and classic remixes for the likes of The Crystal Method, Luke Chable, Way Out West and many more.

Dizz1 is Dave Norris, a turntablist, producer, drummer and teacher best known for hip-hop and downbeat electronica sounds on labels like Tru Thoughts, Muti Music, Nod Navigators, Black Acre Records and Kindred Spirits.

Together they have produced an absolute gem that we’re sure is going to get a smashing this Aussie summer, backed up by a slick deep house remix by Sydney’s Verve and a prog breaks rework by fellow NuBreed member Michael Walburgh under his new moniker OOZZ.
